Become the go-to IT girl or boy: Do you love working in a team, want to make a difference and possess solid IT and data processing skills? Then the role of IT administrator is just what you're looking for. Here you will analyse issues and challenges that need to be solved within a company by employing information and telecommunications systems. To do this you’ll determine IT systems requirements, procure the necessary hard and software, and integrate all this into the business. You'll consult with, and provide support to the individual departments when it comes to using application systems, and you will be the point of contact vis-a-vis IT systems manufacturers and providers. If there are no suitable standard applications available, you will be involved in designing and delivering tailored solutions. Implementing, checking and managing application systems: you're sure to have noticed that you have an expansive remit.

The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years. During your apprenticeship phase you will also participate in internal training sessions, which ensure you are optimally prepared both for the final exam and the working day. 

Once completed you will have qualified as an IT administrator.
