New Chief Sales Officer

Frank Schöller: New Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at STAHLGRUBER

STAHLGRUBER, the most important automotive repair industry partner in Germany and Austria, is appointing Frank Schöller to the management board effective February 1st, 2019. His areas of responsibility will include marketing and sales.

"Frank Schöller has been one of the key pillars of our sales department at STAHLGRUBER for years," says John Quinn, CEO of LKQ Europe. "In addition to his high level of strategic competence, we particularly value his many years of solid experience. STAHLGRUBER is now entering a new phase of development through its affiliation with the LKQ family. We are convinced that Mr. Schöller is the right person to provide employees with the leadership needed while the company prepares itself and our customers for the future."

Frank Schöller has been working in various sales positions at STAHLGRUBER for over two decades, most recently as Sales Director, where he made outstanding contributions in expanding the sales volume of our foreign subsidiaries next to his day-to-day business operations. As Regional Manager, he was responsible for the business development in Baden-Wuerttemberg from 2000 to 2009, while driving the integration of acquisitions into STAHLGRUBER GmbH.

"I am very much looking forward to helping STAHLGRUBER transition from being a sole entity to becoming a member of the globally operating LKQ group of companies," says Frank Schöller. "STAHLGRUBER is already the partner of choice for garages, wholesalers and tire shops in many countries today. We will further consolidate this excellent relationship with our customers and support their business operations with new services, especially relating to Workshop 4.0. I am personally keen on further strengthening the partnership between industry, customers and ourselves as a trading company in the future."

Frank Schöller succeeds Heinz Rieker, who is retiring at the age of 63. "We would like to thank Mr. Rieker, one of the key architects of STAHLGRUBER's success," says John Quinn. "During his term as CSO, the company's turnover has increased by more than one billion euros." "I am pleased that Frank Schöller has been appointed as my successor", says Rieker. "We have worked together closely and successfully for almost 30 years. His values and his way with people have always impressed me. I wish him, STAHLGRUBER and LKQ the fun and success that I was always fortunate to enjoy."
