STAHLGRUBER exhibitions – where the best meet the best

The STAHLGRUBER 2016 exhibition season kicked off with events in Munich on 5/6 March, and in Chemnitz on 9/10 April. Both were highly successful. The exhibitions offered an excellent opportunity for owners and staff of car repair businesses to obtain comprehensive information and keep up to date about state-of-the-art technologies in the automotive repair industry.

In addition to products and information relating to the day-to-day running of a workshop today, the exhibitions offered an insight into issues that will concern the automotive business of tomorrow. What is the benefit of the new headlight testing directive? Will the brake tester at your workshop meet the future requirements of Section 29 of the StVZO (German Road Traffic Licensing Regulations)? Several information events on these two highly relevant issues, during which specialists provided specific details to interested attendees, took place on each of the days.

Modern classic cars and vintage cars open up new business areas – and additional sales and earnings opportunities for car workshops. The same applies to hybrid and electric vehicles. In view of these trends, exhibition visitors were provided with comprehensive information on both of these areas, ranging from the general market environment and legal issues to special repair methods for hybrid and electric vehicles, by our experts at dedicated exhibition stands. As an additional highlight, visitors were able to charge their electric vehicles for free during the exhibitions.

The promising topic of Drivelog Connect was also on the agenda in Munich as well as Chemnitz. With a variety of convenient features, it helps car drivers to optimise on safety and costs and at the same time offers many benefits for workshops. At a separate stand, exhibition visitors had a chance to learn all they need to know about Drivelog Connect.
Other major subjects included workshop equipment, special tools, car parts and services. Numerous well-known exhibitors, including many new exhibition partners, guaranteed a wide range of first-hand information.

Feedback on the 2016 kickoff events was positive throughout. With the right mixture of information, inspiration and fascination, the two exhibitions were a great success for everyone involved.
