STAHLGRUBER GmbH, a leading wholesaler operating in the European parts market, plans to acquire the operational business of Karl Rücker Kraftfahrzeugteile GmbH & Co.KG based in Heilbronn. The insolvent company comprises three sales outlet branches in the towns of Crailsheim-Roßfeld, Schwäbisch Hall und Eppingen.
STAHLGRUBER had previously submitted a fair and feasible offer at the end of January to the administrators appointed by the District Court of Heilbronn. Subject to approval by the creditors’ meeting on 21/02/2018, STAHLGRUBER intends to acquire the operational business in all three branches by 01/03/2018. As part of this process, all members of staff currently active in the operational business are to be brought on board.
“Rücker was a long-established, traditional business spanning nearly 90 years. Today, STAHLGRUBER can also look back on almost 100 years of company history” notes STAHLGRUBER CSO Heinz Rieker. “And we understand that recent months have been challenging for Rücker and its staff in particular. All the more reason then for us to be able to offer its 30 or so members of staff exciting prospects for the future” emphasised Rieker. Previous Rücker customers will continue to be supplied with all their desired products without interruption. All three branches are also due to be linked with the highly efficient STAHLGRUBER logistics and distribution concept. STAHLGRUBER can thus advance its growth strategy and build on its market position.
